As a Registered Nurse, you'll perform all appropriate nursing assessments, evaluate clients' physical condition and service needs, coordinate care with the treatment team, and oversee medication administration and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all appropriate nursing assessments per service line requirements.

  • Evaluate clients' physical condition and service needs.

  • Coordinate care with the treatment team and create action plans for clients based on physical and mental health.

  • Oversee infectious disease control, client hygiene, and related health issues.

  • Provide disease prevention, risk reduction, and health education as needed.

  • Arrange medical appointments for clients dealing with medical conditions during treatment.

  • Administer medications and monitor medication compliance according to state regulatory standards.

  • Consult with physicians or advanced practice providers as necessary.

  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice.

  • Willingness to become licensed in additional states.

  • Experience in mental health services and/or substance abuse preferred.

  • BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Good judgment and discernment in dealing with people.

  • Ability to work with information confidentially.

  • Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and practices in mental health and substance abuse services.
