Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Oversight: Oversee our in-house database, ensuring precise entry of group logs, transfers, discharges, and clinical reviews, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.

  • Billing Accuracy: Review client billable services for accuracy, monitor package authorizations, and track service limits, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in financial transactions.

  • Collaborative Admissions: Work closely with our Admissions Specialist to guarantee the accuracy of admission entry into databases, facilitating seamless transitions and data consistency.

  • Audit and Reconciliation: Complete audits and reconciliations for invoicing and billing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and financial accuracy.

  • Efficient Processing: Submit billable services to funding sources through batch processing and hand-keying as needed, ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims.

  • Timely Reporting: Deliver timely reports regarding client admissions, discharges, and billable services, providing critical insights for decision-making and financial planning.

  • System Development: Assist in the development of new billing systems and client databases, contributing to the enhancement of efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.​

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with courses in typing and business practices.

  • At least three years of experience in secretarial or bookkeeping positions, including two years of computer experience.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Considerable knowledge in medical claims preparation and electronic billing software.

  • Superior communication and customer service skills.

  • Excellent 10-key and alphanumeric data entry skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, database, and web-based applications.
