We are looking for an Electrical Systems Technician to join our client's team. Our client is a leading provider of battery and electrical systems for the defense sector. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting their engineering team in the design, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of electrical projects.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience
Military Background or Associates/Technical Degree in Electronics

Responsibilities
Creating test plans/ procedures based for a given set of requirements and/or standards
Testing all aspects of electrical systems including battery monitoring, AC/DC power inverter, DC/DC power converters, precision sensors, analog and digital circuits
Experience with test and measurement equipment such as : oscilloscopes, data acquisition, environmental chambers, electronic loads and power supplies.
Soldering and circuit level reworking/prototyping
Reading and understanding electrical schematics
Willingness to work with voltages upwards of 600V
Taking measurements of voltage and resistances and Watt measurement
Validations of circuit assembly
Being able to read CAD drawings and make corrections as needed
Working with new CAD designs
Quality Assurance
Computer literacy needed
Four year Technical or Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent OR Military background
The essential functions of this role include:
