CACI is seeking a Network Engineering Fielding Manager to support the EPS program at Langley AFB, VA. The selected candidate will oversee the GNS Fielding team which will be required to travel 75-80% for all Enterprise install/refresh activities needed (CONUS and OCONUS).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the deployment and sustainment of complex IT systems across multiple geographically dispersed locations, ensuring compliance with DoD and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).

  • Lead a team of 5-10 technical professionals in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of critical COTS and network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, SANs, servers, and workstations.

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system installation, operation, and maintenance, ensuring consistency and reliability across all deployed sites.

  • Provide Tier technical support, including fault isolation and diagnostic/assessment functions, for high-priority Full Motion Video (FMV) assets and other mission-critical systems.

  • Plan and execute system and network upgrades, including server migrations and the integration of virtualization technologies such as VMware, to enhance operational efficiency and security.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and Department of Defense customers, facilitating high-level meetings, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services and solutions.

  • Experience managing concurrent teams across geographically separated locations.

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate maintenance windows long-term scheduling with multiple organizations globally.

  • Coordinate project accomplishments in a timely manner to maintain established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Site Preparation Requirements and Installation Plans (SPRIPS).

  • Deep technical understanding and ability to perform manual labor to drive a team to successful installations under tight maintenance windows.

  • Experience with IP Addressing, routing, layer 2 switching, fiber optic cabling, and hardware management on multi-vendor networks (Aruba, Cisco, etc.).

  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds, use basic hand tools, and to plan and perform equipment installations and migrations while maintaining uptime on high-availability classified networks.

  • Work in cold, loud, server room environments.

  • Understanding of rack elevation drawings.

  • Ability to travel on short notice.

  • Understanding of data center power, space, & cooling requirements.

  • Familiarity with AF-DCGS Network Service Requests. NSR-01, NSR-06, etc.

  • Familiarity with network hardware sanitizing procedures.

  • Experience performing site surveys for network data center infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Security + CE certification.

  • 15+ year's relevant IT Systems/Network Administration experience.

  • Valid Passport is required for OCONUS travel.

  • Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills and effective communication skills.

Desired:

  • CCNA/CCNP certifications.

  • ITILv4.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
