Sodexo Safety Coordinator in HAMMOND, Louisiana
Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Food Safety Coordinator to oversee compliance – food, environmental and physical safety – at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA . In this role you will be supporting the management and frontline food team with coordinating, tracking and training safety audits, temp logs, PPE, incident reports, to name a few. Supervisory experience in a food setting is required along with excellent computer skills and high energy to work in a fast-paced environment. Serv Safe certification is required within 60 days.
What You'll Do
perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy
exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits
perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development
have oversight of day-to-day operations
develop strategic plans
ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance
create a positive environment
ensure Sodexo standards are met
