ManpowerGroup Maintenance Reliability Engineer in Hammond, Indiana

Our client is seeking an Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join their team. As an IT Support Specialist you will be part of the Maintenance Reliability Engineer will open to being onsite which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Reliability Engineer

Location: Chico, CA

Salary: $950k - 1000k per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your expertise in reliability engineering principles to determine the most effective maintenance practices for various equipment types.

  • Utilize data-driven methodologies like Pareto charts and FMEA to identify and prioritize equipment failures, leading to cost-effective maintenance strategies.

  • Continuously monitor equipment performance and leverage data to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

  • Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures, develop solutions to prevent recurrence, and implement risk mitigation methodologies.

  • Collaborate with production and other departments to identify improvement opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and draft reports.

  • Participate in the testing and implementation of engineering solutions to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, quality, safety, and service.

  • Provide leadership and direction to teams by fostering collaborative problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while maintaining product quality.

  • Manage projects of moderate scope, prioritizing tasks and coordinating effectively with other engineers and technicians.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive life cycle asset management program.

  • Facilitate cross-functional Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies to define optimal maintenance strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical) or a related technical field (Mechanical Engineering preferred).

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a process industry environment, with a strong understanding of automation control systems, PLC programming, and HMI design.

  • Proficiency in applying reliability and improvement methodologies like FMEA, LEAN, RCA, and RCM.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player with a positive attitude.

  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy.

Certifications (a plus):

  • ISO, II, CAT, CBM, M&RE, 9000, CMRP, CI, CHMM, or NEBOSH
