Position: General Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, financial performance (P&L), and sales to ensure smooth production processes.

  • Develop and implement strategies for enhanced productivity, minimized downtime, reduced production costs, and compliance with industry regulations.

  • Identify new business opportunities, create go-to-market plans, and execute strategic initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention.

  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, team member relations, customer satisfaction, quality, delivery, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction.

  • Administer company policies, directing and coordinating department activities to achieve strategic objectives and KPIs.

  • Monitor inventory levels to meet production demands.

  • Establish and enforce quality control standards to exceed customer expectations.

  • Implement and monitor safety protocols and initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities for expansion, growth, and process improvements.

  • Manage resources collaboratively with other divisions.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

  • 10+ years of manufacturing management experience with a focus on structural steel.

  • Strong P&L management experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.

  • Experience in business-to-business sales growth or business development strategies.

  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen for Continuous Improvement.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Financial acumen with budget management and cost optimization experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Incentives:

  • $160K - $200K/year base salary

  • Annual bonus applied.

Pay Details: $160,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
