We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for an Aircraft Systems Technician to join our growing team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.
We are looking for Aircraft Systems Technicians at all levels to work offsite at our Hamilton, Washington Facility. The Aircraft Systems Technician positions involve the execution of various electrical systems install, fluid systems install and general aircraft systems tasks. Aircraft Systems Technicians at all levels are required to follow directions carefully, have basic mechanical knowledge, manual dexterity, good eyesight and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
The following essential job functions are performed as an Aircraft Systems Technician:
- Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, work instructions and other technical and non-technical documents.
- Receives and carries out directions from designated supervisors.
- Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.
- Keeps work orders stamped, dated and organized.
- Electrical Harness routing & inspection, repairs & modifications, electrical soldering & inspection, electrical bonding & inspection, ground network installation.
- Aerospace style electrical connection installation and testing support, anti-chafing wrap installation.
- Electrical Equipment installation and Electrical System continuity testing.
- Hardline tube routing and fit-up and titanium, aluminum, and SS tube swaging
- Threaded fitting install, torquing, and sealing.
- Oxygen tube installation and ECS ducting installation
- Leak checking and pressure test support.
- Follows Janicki Industries Rules and Safety Practices and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follows 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap standards and practices throughout all work performed.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free condition.
- Has knowledge of and ability to use common hand tools for assembly components per verbal, written, and drawing requirements.
- Sets up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction.
- Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
- Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
- Previous aircraft systems experience highly encouraged.
- Prior military experience encouraged.
- Must have the ability to read, understand and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Wage range for this role is between $23 - $40 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensati
