RECE Full Day Educator
Play, inspire and grow with Umbrella Family: Where every child’s journey matters.
Umbrella Family’s Temporary RECE Full Day Educators develop and implement a variety of activities, designed to stimulate all areas of development, and based on the observed interests of children. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, your role will involve collaborating with families and other staff members to create a positive and enriching experience for each child.
At Umbrella, you are encouraged to thrive, be creative and follow play-based learning and nurture children as they grow.
What to expect:
Balance Work and Life: Enjoy the weekend off! RECE Full Day Educators work during the weekdays between 8:00am to 6:00pm, shift times may vary depending on location.
Togetherness : RECE Full Day Educators create something special by partnering with the Program Leaders and fellow educators to build a positive and welcoming environment.
Be Impactful: Develop activities to stimulate all areas of development, with integration of your observed interests of children.
Feel Supported: Educators will be scheduled for allocated Programming Time, allowing you to plan and prepare for your program based on children’s interest and needs.
What are we looking for:
Experience working with children OR related experience in a childcare setting, working with school aged children
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Proven teaching abilities to meet the diverse the learning styles of children from infant, toddler to preschool age
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR Level C Certificate
Record of up-to-date immunizations for TB, Tetanus and MMR
Proof of Covid-19 Vaccines
Registration with the College of ECEs in good standing
