This position is typically held by someone who is early in their career, new to the industry and/or recent college graduate. The individual's experience may be limited as is their exposure to our specific business. This position is responsible for providing high quality engineering designs per specifications, standards, budgets and schedules, and/or providing central software support for HVAC and access/security critical applications, as well as participating on a team to design, install, startup, commission and service building automation control and facility management systems.   • Controls programming for BAS systems (Function Block + Script, Graphics)
  • Creates intuitive graphical user interfaces for BAS systems.
  • Visits job sites for startup, checkout, commissioning, and systems programming.
  • Validate, troubleshoot, and documents point to point checkout of field devices, controllers, and equipment.
  • Follows established written standards and procedures for software development, communication and documentation.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely project progress, roadblocks, and solutions.
  • Interprets each project's sequence of operations as provided, developed in writing by Project Engineering and creates controller code to implement the sequence.
  • Works with members of the project team and associated contractor personnel to ensure the success of the system commissioning process.
  • Provides training, as requested, either on customer site or at our training center

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • 2 years of Building Automation experience or understanding
  • Engineering schooling or working knowledge
