We are offering an opportunity for a Part-Time Accountant located in Hamilton, NJ. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Part-Time Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring our accounting procedures are up to speed.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Handle the posting of cash receipts to maintain accurate financial records

• Generate detailed reports to provide insights into financial status and performance

• Produce Aging Reports to track overdue payments and ensure effective debt recovery

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to streamline accounting functions

• Ensure all accounting functions are performed in compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities promptly and accurately

• Regularly review customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Excel and Accounting Software

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to generate and analyze Aging Reports

• Willingness to work part-time hours

• Relevant certification or degree in accounting or related field

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
