Three Branch Ranch JV Farmworker in Hallock, Minnesota
Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworker to work in Hallock, MN. From: 02/05/2024 to 11/01/2024 Work: 40 hrs./weel; Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day, Sat. 5hrs./day. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 06/20/2024. Job Duties: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, grain cart, rake, baler to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay, wheat, canola, soybeans, silage; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread inputs, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Pile silage; Collect and stack bales; Mix feed; Attend to live farm animals including cattle by feeding, calving, vaccinating, weaning, marketing; Drop mineral at pastures. Requirements: Three (3) Months Experience, Class D License, Extensive pushing or pulling, Exposure to extreme temperatures, Repetitive movements. Employer Assurances: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
