✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Licensed Equine Therapist at Pearl Haven in Haleiwa, HI ✨
Pearl Haven is a specialized facility on the north shore of Oahu that provides trauma informed therapeutic services for girls ages 11-17 who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with serious emotional and behavioral disturbances to try and help them heal from their trauma.
Pay: $74,000 annually
We are offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus ($1,000 at 3 months and $1,000 at 6 months)

What you will do: As the Equine Therapist you will be responsible for incorporating horses and other farm animals into clinical care. This will include case management functions, coordination of care with other entities and weekly face-to-face meetings with the client care team.
To be considered you should: Have a master’s degree in social service related field, independent license required. Posses the ability to work outdoors for 50% or more of the workweek. Applicants should be at least 21 years of age. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Applicants should be empathetic, patient and have a desire to work with troubled teens.
Information regarding Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours a week
