Job Description

: Marine Surveyor

Working location

: Hai Phong

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

  • Survey at yard or onboard the ships in accordance class requirement (IACS).

  • Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduated from Marine University or equivalent, Naval Architect or Marine Engineer.

  • Experience on superintendent for ship-owner (> 5 years), or;

  • Marine engineer working on board the ship (> 5 years), or;

  • QC department at shipyard (> 5 years), or;

  • IACS surveyor (> 5 years).

  • Nice to have NDT certificate (RT, UT, PT, …); CSWIP 3.1 (Optional)

Technical and professional skills

  • Good command in office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)

  • Fluent in reading, writing & speaking English is preferred

  • Can arrange to travel for inspection jobs
