Sierra Nevada Corporation Purchasing Agent II in Hagerstown, Maryland
The candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, non-disclosure agreements etc. The candidate will submit quote request to suppliers, analyze responses and complete procurement files per SNC processes and procedures. The candidate will work closely with other departments within SNC and will monitor open orders, work invoice issues, handle product returns to suppliers and reconcile receiving discrepancies.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Responsibilities:
Ability to represent the company effectively and in a professional and business-like manner is essential
Comprehensive written, verbal, analytical and general accounting skills
MS Office, Lotus Notes and Material Management software knowledge
Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written
Must-haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Supply chain or logistics experience MS Office
Preferred:
CPM Certification
APICS Certification
Kaizen
