Eaton Corporation Lead Engineer- Embedded Hardware in Hadapsar, India
What you’ll do:
This role involves designing analog and digital circuits for electronic sub-systems in the EV charger domain. Responsibilities include circuit validation through simulations, identifying cost-reduction opportunities for existing products, and participating in EMI/EMC and certification tests. The engineer will collaborate primarily with Product Development teams in Pune and Europe, contributing to Energy Transition & Digital Services (ETDS) initiatives.
Design expertise in board-level power supplies, microelectronics, microcontroller-based systems, analog/digital circuits, communication interfaces, and sensors.
Experience in hardware-software interface and control design, with the ability to collaborate with firmware teams to meet system requirements.
Proficiency in microcontroller/processor-based hardware design and integration.
Ability to analyze and simulate electronic systems, including analog, logical, and digital components.
Knowledge of reliability in electronics and embedded system design.
Proficiency in designing for EMI/EMC compliance, protections, and environmental considerations.
Familiarity with product standards such as IEC and UL.
Experience in validation, verification, and certification processes for industrial applications.
Skilled in product design tools like LTSpice/PSpice, Altium/OrCAD, and FEA tools for development.
Hands-on experience in taking products from concept to commercialization, including PCB design, component selection, schematic creation, and 3D/2D modeling.
Strong soft skills, team management capabilities, and resource optimization in design and manufacturing processes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
High aptitude for creativity, self-direction, and innovation.
