Join us as a Regional Chief Data Stewardat Mars Global Services, the shared services division of Mars Inc. We are on an exciting Digital Transformation journey to support our Digitization strategy. The digital landscape is reshaping our interactions with customers and consumers, revolutionizing the way we market, sell, and distribute our brands amidst the disruptive wave of Digital Commerce.

To bolster this transformation, we're building capabilities across People, Process, Technology, and Data to enhance data management effectiveness. Mars is setting up a Data Organization to implement data management best practices consistently, refine our master data strategy, and scale these across various segments and markets. What are we looking for?
Seasoned Professional: Bachelor's degree with 10-12 years of experience in managing data processes and operations in a complex multinational corporate environment.
Master Data Management Expert: Capable of envisioning, modeling, and optimizing complex business processes, data, and workflows across multiple business segments on a regional/global scale.
Team Leader: Proven experience in leading teams executing data operations and comfortable discussing data-related issues with senior leadership.
Demonstrated Leadership: Proven management experience within a matrix organization and strong business acumen of the FMCG industry.
Stakeholder Relationship Manager: Ability to manage relationships with global leaders, preferably with experience partnering with GM's, Marketing Heads, Sales Heads, Finance Heads across functional leadership teams.


What will be your key responsibilities?
Collaborative Leadership: Works with domain champions and the data council to understand and adopt data governance objectives/standards across regional domains.
Process Management: Collaborates with regional data stewards to set up operations and processes according to standards, driving attainment of governance objectives.
Data Quality Accountability: Drives the quality of Master Data across regional domains and collaborates with the data quality organization to implement rules and enforcements.
Process Standardization: Accountable for standardizing processes across domains in alignment with standards defined by data champions and data councils.
Structural Change Input: Contributes to changes in the structure of Master Data for specific domains, providing quality and process perspectives.
Issue Resolution: Handles escalations on issue resolutions and remediation, and reallocates resources as needed.
Business Planning: Works with business or function heads to ensure visibility into business initiatives for Master Data and plans for future changes/demand surges.
Regional Collaboration: Collaborates with other regional chief data stewards and domain data councils, addressing regional issues and transformation opportunities.
