Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop software applications and application components, test, deploy, and maintain to improve software performance, maintainability, and resiliency in an agile environment
Implement the best practices for the Micro services architecture development and deployment
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
Improve processes supporting all aspects of the software development lifecycle including source code management, testing, automation , support
Take E2E ownership of technical delivery
Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
Create high-quality software by conducting peer design/code reviews and developing automated test cases

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
10 - 12 years of designing, building, and deploying enterprise applications
API / Web Services: 8+ years of working experience in Web Services / API, REST Architecture, etc.
Cloud: 6+ years of working experience in Multitenant Cloud application development / micro-services architecture and deployments on AWS / Azure
Experience in providing technical guidance and inculcating engineering best practices within development teams
Experience in processing data using Kafka streams
Sound fundamentals of Core Java and technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing
Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Spring Batch, Hibernate, REST and SOAP services
DDD, Microservices, Event Driven & API Gateway
Content Management
Databases: RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL variants
Operational and APM Tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk
Worked on the CI/CD tools - Jenkins, Git/GitHub/subversion or any code versioning tool
Tools Knowledge - Rally, JIRA . Service Now, Salesforce case management
Preferred Qualifications:
Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/ AWS - FAAS, Messaging, Data Repository
Knowledge or experience with at least one of the following client side Angular/ React framework/ Ruby, JS jQuery, HTML5, CSS, DOM Manipulation Node js, NPM, Ecma Script
