Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a team player, servant leader and at times mentor developers by guiding and removing obstacles in both functional and technical aspects of delivery

  • Create innovation and be part of innovative deliverables with multiple Scrum teams size of 7

  • Apply Full Stack Software Engineering responsibilities.(UI and microservices inclusive)

  • Act as a DevOps engineer ,work on Development and Production support tasks

  • Prioritizes and organizes work to meet deadlines. Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise

  • Adhere to software engineering principles, GIT, Deploy pipeline, Telemetry aspects of code development

  • Act as a SLO and delivery lead , and induce DevOps culture

  • Communicate with leaders and peer on periodic status updates, blockers including mitigation and future resolution

  • Engage in both Tactical and Strategic solution/Planning

  • Collaborate with business and technical product owners to refine and implement expected roadmap

  • Reviews the work of others

  • Develops innovative approaches

  • Sought out as expert

  • Serves as a leader/ mentor

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (Bachelors degree or higher)

  • 12+ years of work experience in Development role

  • Technical skills:

  • Experience in coding for web services and/or web applications (Backend and frontend)

  • Experience in relational and NOSQL DB like MongoDB , MySQL

  • Java, SPRING Boot, NoSQL , SPLUNK ,Kafka

  • JSON knowledge

  • Service Now or Equivalent tool knowledge

  • Kanban/Rally usage

  • Cloud technologies

  • Expertise in developing microservices and integration to Jenkins

  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically in coding and automating JUNIT, regression test suite for Java based processes in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:

  • AI-LLM , Embedding

  • Vector DB

  • Grafana, Disaster recovery, HA knowledge

  • Python

  • HealthCare Experience

  • HIPAA/EDI transaction knowledge
