We are looking for highly accomplished software engineers to join the “ECP” software development team. You will be designing and implementing IoT based services for customer use cases. As a Senior Engineer you will be involved in designing and implementing various features of these products including digital twin simulators, and build a distributed system to process millions of messages per day.

You must have good understanding of the IoT concept from technology and business application perspective. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, implement and integrate IoT and edge devices in Communication Industry Use cases

  • Analyze and Implement IoT based features including digital twin, integration and edge capabilities

  • Implement and fine tune cloud service that would be processing millions of transactions per day using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and distributed technologies

  • Work with distributed services, integration technologies and Oracle suite of applications

  • Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's productivity, job enjoyment, and code quality.

  • Have fun engineering software and scalable systems

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience implementing large scale, highly available distributed systems based on Cloud technologies

  • Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages such as Advanced Java concepts - Collections, Multi-threading, Design patterns, Data Structures), Cloud Native experience (Kubernetes, Docker), Microservices and DB skills

  • Strong understanding of databases, message queues, distributed computing environments and distributed persistence technologies.

  • familiarity in IoT technology and Communications domain is a plus

  • Organized, good attention to detail, able to work both independently and with a team

  • Experience in cloud deployments and performance tuning of distributed systems

  • Excellent problem solver, analytic thinker, and quick learner

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
