The team you will be a part of: India HR Operations

This role in summary: Compliance Lead

Key Stakeholders: Legal, Finance, HR and external stakeholders (Vendor & Govt. Authorities)

Your responsibilities will include:

As listed below, at a broad level but not limited to them only:

  • SME in compliance vertical.

  • Hands on knowledge of Labour Laws (Acts / Rules & Regulations).

  • Filing of multiple returns and registers to the Govt. authorities as per the timelines under various Acts.

  • Registrations / Renewals / Amendments to be done as per the requirements under various Acts.

  • Closure of notices / inspections done by Govt. authorities as and when required.

  • Supporting Internal Audits closure.

  • Audit of third party vendor compliances on a regular basis under various Acts..

  • Managing the compliance closure on the Legal's Compliance Tool (internal).

  • Internal Legal reporting requirements (BRSR).

  • Compliance Vendor Management.

  • Knowledge of Standing Orders (how it works end to end).

  • CLRA RC registrations for third party associates as per the law.

  • Knowledge of Wage Codes and its implementation.

  • Knowledge of Employment related laws.

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years in compliance role/vertical

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree

Preferred skills and experiences:

  • Good Communication skills written and verbal (English & Hindi).

  • Play an advisory role for the changes in compliance vertical (as and when any change happens).

  • Hands on experience in implementing things at the ground level for all of the core responsibilities.

  • Structured thinking/clear thought process/can handle ambiguities and deliver on the assigned tasks.

  • Stakeholder management/conflict management.

  • Connect with external government authorities and networking skills.

  • Self motivated and has a learning and development mindset.

  • Exposure of working in Manufacturing Plants/Factories will be preferred.

  • Individual Contributor but a Team player

  • Continuous improvement mindset.
