Job overview and responsibilities

The Total Rewards Analyst will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the various aspects of benefits and compensation consulting and to provide direct support to the design and implementation of several global core programs. This also includes market data intelligence gathering and governance as well as global total rewards administration and compliance.

  • United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd. Compensation Programs Support

  • Analysis, research, and reporting of Compensation, Benefits and HR Information Systems

  • Participate and track annual salary surveys, and conduct analysis to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance in order to attract, motivate and retain key talent

  • Research best local market practices in benefits, compensation, allowances, etc. and provide proposals to implement total reward practices

  • Analyze and maintain United internal and external compensation data

  • Review internal and external offers in accordance with United Compensation philosophy

  • Other analytical projects as required

  • Global Compensation & Benefits Administration & Compliance administration

  • Evaluate all new jobs/reclassifications, or reorganizations to determine appropriate salary, grade and job title governance

  • Perform regular audits of the job data and compensation data to ensure changes are within guidelines and have all necessary approvals

  • Make corrections in systems, as necessary

  • Onboarding benefits administration

  • Support with market pricing the jobs to ensure United is market competitive

  • HR Information Systems support

  • Audit and maintain HR Information systems across the enterprise to ensure all relevant types of compensation: gross salary (CTC), bonus, benefits and allowances, etc. are kept up to date in PeopleSoft

  • Annual compensation program administration support

  • Locally lead the administration of global common compensation review process, including preparation of data and system, communication and training to HR Partners, and consolidation of data for approvals

  • Provide the reporting for the annual salary increase and bonus allocation processes by preparing the review files, uploading new recommendations and preparing files for Corporate/Divisions approval

  • Additional projects and responsibilities as required

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Concentration in human resources and or analytical fields (finance, accounting, business administration, or economics)

  • Min 2 years of relevant work experience Compensation, Business management, and/or Human resources experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Have a strict attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Compensation, benefits and HR Information Systems principles and practices

  • Have an overall understanding for processes, continuous improvement work, and an ability & interest in championing new ideas for potential adoption

  • Have analytical and quantitative skills (Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint)

  • Executive presence, relationship-building, decision-making and advanced discernment skills

  • Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness, can-do and serviceability approach

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Indiafor any employer without sponsorship

  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Master's degree

  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, PayFactors and Foundry is a plus

  • Understand basics of Indian compensation packages and salary structures
