Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and perform the work listed. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor’s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This position serves as an Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects or performs moderately complex engineering assignments, evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques to a broad set of complex assignments.
1) • Working / Checking / guiding the engineers and designers to prepare & issue following
a) Load list preparation / updation based on process / mechanical / vendor changes
b) Preparation of Overall SLD / SLDs & MCC schedules
c) Electrical equipment sizing, system studies
d) Cable sizing, Cable block diagram, Cable schedule
e) MTO for all bulk & Tagged items as per project requirements
f) Schematic /elementary diagrams/ Interconnection diagrams / PCMs
g) Preparation of Hazardous area classification layouts
h) Datasheet preparation
i) Lighting calculations, grounding & lightning protection calculations
2) Work on TBE / PO / vendor drawing approval for electrical and mechanical packages
3) Review / Checking of 3D model and guide designers for design development.
4) Squad Check of Vendor and internal drawings, providing inputs to other department.
5) Knowledge of national & international codes and standards, statutory requirements.
6) Knowledge of electrical Installation details & its usages in various location of plant
Working knowledge of electrical software (ETAP / SKM / SPEL etc)
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
