Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in composite materials to develop and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and uphold quality standards. This role involves recommending and executing improvements to production methods and controls to optimize overall operations.
Shift: Day
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, with an expectation of 45 hours per week and additional hours as necessary.
Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Relocation: Assistance available for candidates willing to relocate to Utah.

Responsibilities:
Lead process improvement initiatives, resolve production issues, manage projects, and conduct employee training.
Develop and refine manufacturing processes to reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve efficiency.
Prepare and present implementation plans, coordinating deployment and training of team members.
Assist the Manufacturing Operations Director in enhancing systems for production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control, and training.
Represent the manufacturing department on cross-functional teams.
Design, develop, test, source, and justify tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment.
Maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment as needed.
Coordinate the launch of new or revised products, setting goals, training team members, and evaluating results.
Analyze products and processes for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency.
Provide support on different shifts for specific projects as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in computer-aided design software such as CAD, AutoCAD, CATIA, and SolidWorks.
Minimum of 3 years of related manufacturing engineering experience.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, with specific experience in composite materials and manufacturing techniques.
Knowledge of the Theory of Constraints.
Experience managing projects using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate across all organizational levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence others.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility in managing competing projects and priorities.
Experience with Mastercam is preferred.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).
