Description
Position Summary : Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more areas (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.); perform general cleaning and grounds maintenance. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM (Occasional weekends and others shifts required)
Wage: DOE
Responsibilities:
Help clean and work around mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machines.
Perform daily maintenance tasks on machines and equipment
Cleaning duties in facilities
Compacts cardboard in cardboard compactor
Cuts and trims grass, weeds flower beds, and shovels snow on and around facilities
Any other responsibilities or assignments as necessary
Knowledge, Skills & Requirements:
High School diploma, GED or three to six months experience.
The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to communicate with other members of the organization.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Follow instructions and respond to direction.
Self-motivated. Sets and achieves challenging goals and is able to work with little supervision.
Ability to stand for long periods, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Completes required tasks.
