Necaise Bros Construction Co, Inc. Pipe Layer in Gulfport, Mississippi
This position is for a Pipe Layer with a company in Gulfport, MS.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.
Duties and Responsibilities: As an Experienced Pipe Layer, you will be responsible for laying and joining concrete, PVC, or Ductile Iron pipe for water mains, storm drainage, and sewers. This includes rigging pipe for hoisting, setting pipe to grade and affixing the pipe joint, and preparation of trenches either manually or by communicating with equipment operators. The essential functions may include laying and joining pipe for sewer, water, and drains, rigging pipe, setting pipe, and affixing pipe to joints. Applicant should be able to work as a team cooperatively to accomplish tasks, maintain tools and equipment so that they are kept in good working order and safe for use. Applicant should be safety conscious and consistently monitor and maintain compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Applicant should maintain a clean and safe work environment and be willing to perform a variety of general labor tasks and other duties as required for the job. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have at least 3 years experience as a pipelayer. OSHA 10 Certification a plus. Knowledge of and ability to determine appropriate grades. Knowledge of applicable safety precautions. Strong communications skills. Must pass pre-hire drug screen.
