SUMMARY Configure, repair and maintain the company’s entire network infrastructure. Ensure proper operation and system uptime.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Install, configure, operate, maintain and troubleshoot company’s voice and data network switches, routers and other related systems. Work assigned tickets in a timely manner.Assist field and NOC technicians with installations, troubleshooting and repairs.Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot Network to ensure performance and stability.Work a rotation of 24hr On-call shift.Performs all other duties as required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of direct experience in related environment and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. A strong aptitude for hands-on application of a broad variety of tools and instruments.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES•Knowledge in Networking, MPLS (L2-L3 VPN), Ethernet, OSPF, BGP maintenance and configuration.•Knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting VoIP systems and protocols such as SIP, MGCP.•Knowledge in routers switches and firewalls.•Skills in configuration and maintenance of networks such as MPLS (L2-L3 VPN), Ethernet, Frame Relay, PPPoE, OSPF, BGP and other routing protocols.•Working knowledge with troubleshooting tools such as Sunrise, Wireshark, OTDR, SNMP and others.
