JOB SUMMARY Support the development of business processes and launch of new business through coordination with multiple departments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Development of technical documentation for repair, service and business processes. · Expert knowledge in MS Excel, Visio, Word and experience with MS Project.· Interface with different Departments to define program requirements.· Create process flows for repair and business processes and procedures. · Ensure that current and future processes and systems meet and/or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.· Review and promote improvement in customer metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.· Act as a liaison between Jabil sites for program transfers including providing input into transfer plans and timelines, supporting data, technology, process and procedural requirements as well as knowledge transfer activities and participating in launch activities as needed. Provide support and technical assistance to new facility and/or Workcell startups.· Provide mentoring and technical assistance to Jabil site manufacturing engineering staff.· Support standardization of systems, procedures and practices across all of the Jabil workcells.· Ensure that current and future quality and manufacturing systems meet and/or exceed customer and regulatory requirement.· Review and promote improvement in customer metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.· Act as a liaison between Jabil sites including providing input into transfer plans and timelines, supporting data and knowledge transfer activities and participating in launch activities as needed.· Provide support and technical assistance to new facility and/or workcell startups.· Review and promote improvement in customer metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.· Provide mentoring and technical assistance to direct reports and Jabil site functional managers and staff.· Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.· Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.· Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.· Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.· Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.· Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science (MS & MBA would be a preferred.)
ASQ (or equivalent) certified Six Sigma Blackbelt (Master Black Belt would be preferred).
Minimum 10 years’ experience in campus technical leadership.
