The Account Manager-Diagnostics for Cytiva is responsible for growth and expansion with assigned accounts in Diagnostic markets, meeting assigned sales targets through well-established relationship with key personas, delivering product value propositions, providing solutions and services to increase customers’ satisfaction and loyalty.

This position is part of the Cytiva D&M Diagnostics located in Southern cities, Guangdong or Shenzhen is preferred. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Mange the customer relationship and accounts representing D&G portfolio besides entire Cytiva products to enable the assigned customer’s success

  • Proactively build a strong technical understanding of our products and our customer’s applications in Diagnostics workflows and portfolios

  • Lead the Kaizen with DBS guidance to executing operating plan when driving customer satisfaction and customer retention

  • Take the lead on contract and pricing negotiation in addition to complex and strategic deal development at assigned accounts. Assist in proposal preparation and presentation to customers

The essential requirements include:

  • Responsible for revenue and order target achievement within assigned territory

  • Familiar in diagnostic application, workflow and customer un-met needs and decision chain when choosing raw material to develop IVD kits

  • Provide added value packages to design in new customers and ramp up in existing customer to increase customer loyalty and maximize business potential

  • Develop and maintain good relationship with key accounts by proactive communication on product and technology, marketing programs or specific evaluation projects via frequent sales visits

  • Identify Key Account’s current and potential spend and strategic value.

  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and market trends in the responsible territories

Knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent understanding of IVD kit developers’ purchasing process with excellent professional selling skills

  • Good knowledge of raw materials used in POCT, CLIA or molecular diagnostic segments

  • Trackable record in meeting sales targets, KA management and channel management

  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills and planning ability

  • Good team player with strategic thinking, self-motivation, being creative and result driven, being able to work under pressure with optimistic attitude

Education or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, Biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology or related major, master’s degree is a plus

  • At least 3 years sales experience in MNCs of IVD industry preferably in POCT, CLIA or molecular segment or IVD raw material market

Physical requirements/abilities:

  • Need extensive travels (50% of working time) to visit customers, distributors and attend company meetings
