Description and Requirements

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Financial Digital Transformation Analyst to drive the digital evolution of our finance function in Japan. This pivotal role demands a deep understanding of the end-to-end business from Finance, including financial performance, operations, and strategic objectives. As a Financial Digital Transformation expert, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our finance organization by identifying, designing, and implementing innovative digital solutions that enhance efficiency, improve decision-making, and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategic Thinking:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to articulate the financial vision and roadmap, securing buy-in and support.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the identification and prioritization of digital initiatives.

  • Financial Expertise:

  • Possess a deep understanding of financial operations, management accounting, and financial analysis.

  • Leverage financial acumen to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business performance.

  • Change Management and Communication:

  • Champion change within the organization, fostering a culture of innovation and digital adoption.

  • Develop and execute effective communication plans to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Build strong relationships with business partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.

  • Project Management and Execution:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex digital transformation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.

  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Implement robust project management methodologies to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a strong focus on digital transformation.

  • Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

  • Deep expertise in SAP FICO, with a minimum of 7 years of implementation experience, including at least 3 projects in a financial lead role.

  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners at all levels.

  • Fluency in Japanese, English, and Mandarin Chinese (both spoken and written).
