Description:

This position is primarily evening shift with a weekend and holiday rotation.

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors the Patient Care Pharmacist, within the scope of the Ohio Pharmacist Practice Act, will provide timely, accurate and cost effective pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care throughout their experience at Mount Carmel following the principles of our interdisciplinary care delivery system.

  • Ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy required

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio or eligible for reciprocity

  • PGY1 Residency or prior inpatient acute care experience preferred
