Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects within our Engineering department at Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls Division (RAC). You will be responsible for the planning and execution of product cost optimization projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication and technical skills.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.

  • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.

  • Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.

  • Report regularly on project status to senior management.

  • Implement best practices in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within R&D.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • With a 10 years working experience, and at least 5 years in project management (Experience with Agile Methodology & Project Management Certification is preferred)

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.

  • Proficiency in communication using fluent Business English

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work in a matrix multinational organization & complex environment.
