Kimley-Horn Survey Technician in Greenwood Village, Colorado
Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join our Survey team in Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO). This is an in-office role.
Responsibilities
Assistwith photogrammetry, aerial and terrestrial LiDAR data capture, registration, and data extraction
Occasional travel possible
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to produce detailed subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other various survey related maps or exhibits
Research boundary and easement title documents and perform boundary analysis
Use field crew data files (points), field sketches, photos and reference maps to create surveys
Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right of way, easements, acquisition parcels, etc.
Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards
Qualifications
FAA Part 107 drone pilots license preferred
High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree or ability/desire to obtain preferred)
6+ years of relevant Survey Experience including: working with an extracting LiDAR data, using drones or terrestrial scanners, working knowledge of Civil 3D
Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
Strong work ethic, interpersonal communicationskills and desire to learn
Ability to work independently and with a team
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $85,000
Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
