OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate school Electrical Engineering student for a paid summer internship for Summer 2025 at our Greenwood Village, CO office. Imagine working on rewarding client projects and being exposed to unparalleled training and development opportunities.
The summer internship has a commitment of approximately mid-May through mid-August 2025. We will be accepting resumes for this opportunity from approximately September - November 2024. The Merrick Intern Program will provide an undergraduate or graduate student an opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C). Our intern will be exposed to a variety of EI&C experiences and tasks including, but not limited to, facility electrical power, gloveboxes, hot cells, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, communication systems, and low voltage power d
This intern will collaborate with other disciplines, interface with clients and contractors, follow schedules and budget commitments, problem solve, and work independently. Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be pursuing an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with an electrical emphasis from an ABET accredited program Must be currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school Client projects for this position require US Citizenship DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of electrical, lighting, and/or power system design Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) Knowledge of power distribution design software (SKM PowerTools, Easy Power, ETAP) Local Candidates Preferred. PERKS
