We’re searching for a Director of Accounting who will oversee and lead the daily operations of the accounting department. This individual will partner with the Brand Leadership Team and TAG Corporate Center of Excellence Accounting office. This individual will be responsible for leading teams that execute the monthly close and reporting, with key processes such revenue recognition and cash collections, patient related liabilities, cash management and intercompany, physician ownership models, equity and minority interests, doctor and staff incentives, and related systems. ClearChoice is currently working on a planned new ERP deployment with anticipated go live in early Q3 so this leader will need to integrate themselves quickly into this project. In addition, the desired candidate will have demonstrated the ability to navigate an accounting organization through transformational change. We need a results-driven and detail-oriented accounting leader who can work effectively across the brand TAG organizations.

Key Responsibilities

● Own the monthly close process for a brand and ensure accurate and timely completion of all accounting and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, other financial measures important to the brand, and TAG Corporate accounting policies and practices.

● Partner with the ClearChoice Finance/FP&A, operations, and corporate functional leadership in all questions related to the daily accounting plus the accounting impact and treatment for projects, initiatives, and other transactions.

● Understand and execute TAG Corporate standard accounting policies and practices, while also designing and executing brand-specific accounting processes and practices.

● Partner with TAG shared services teams in AP, payroll, treasury, etc. that support the brand in monthly close processes and initiatives.

● In partnership with TAG, develop resource and other direct spend budgets specific to the brand accounting function.

● Evaluate accounting issues as they arise and recommend accounting process and procedure improvements and changes.

● Perform financial controls assessment for key processes and make improvements and efficiencies to ensure they operate effectively, including optimization of ERP and other systems.

● Responsible for the review or oversight of all general ledger reconciliations prepared.

● Develop and implement customer support and training processes to support operations and providers on P&L inquiries and other financial reports.

● Coordinate and manage the financial statement audit activities specific to the brand, including scheduling and management of key tasks and open items to ensure timely completion.

● Build effective teams through hiring and training, including team development, resource allocation, professional development, and engagement.

● Develop, maintain, and present department metrics/OKR’s to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.

Key Qualifications

· 10+ years of relevant experience within accounting leadership with 4-6+ years direct management experience.

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, MBA or Master’s of Accounting a plus.

· CPA certification required.

· Experience interacting with providers and supporting provider ownership models a plus.

· Demonstrated ability of leading an accounting organization through transformational change.

· Workday experience is required, with prior experience in ERP implementation a plus.

· Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and independently complete assignments within tight time constraints and deadlines.

· Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with senior management and clinical teams and present ideas in a concise and digestible manner.

· Experience within the dental or healthcare industries or retail multi-site preferred.

Salary: $170,000 - $220,000 + bonus opportunity.
