About The RoleSummaryThe Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for existing portfolios that aredelegated and bringing in new loan and deposit customers to the Bank byproviding effective sales and services that align with the overall mission andcredit culture of the bank. Must have the ability to establish and promotebusiness development efforts throughout the bank's market which lead torelationship and lending opportunities. Must be knowledgeable about themarket and have the ability to analyze financial statements ranging from avariety of Business and Industry types with the experience to provide bankingsolutions.The compensation minimum for the wage range for this position is $90,000per year and will vary depending on what city the applicant works in. We willconsider a higher base salary for the first year of employment in lieu of orin conjunction with our incentive plan. All compensation offers are analyzedindividually and take into consideration multiple factors including but notlimited to geographic location, years of experience, and educationalbackgroundDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops and manages a customer portfolio that is to include commercialloans, treasury management products and deposit products.Attends loan committee as required, with ability to provide structuralfeedback to the committee.Processes loan maturities and renewals.Collects all necessary documents to submit to the Credit Department foranalysis.Prepares with the assistance of the Credit Department loan presentations asnecessary and present to Loan Committee.Works closely with Loan Assistant to properly document and maintain loan andcollateral files.Works with Treasury Management Sales Officer and other Business ServicePartners to sell products when applicable.Represents the Bank at various networking functions to further the Bank'sreputation and reach in the community.Assist in the overall management of the branch as well as supporting otherneeds that may arise in the course of running a bank.Performs job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal andstate rules and regulations as applicable to the position, including, butnot limited to BSA/AML, OFAC, and GLBA/privacy rules.May perform other duties as assigned.About YouQUALIFICATIONS:Five to 10 years of experience in banking and commercial lending.Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics or other relateddisciplines preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:Demonstrated sales and business development skills.Ability to fully understand, analyze and structure various types ofcommercial loan requests.Represent the bank in a positive manner at all times and network outside thebank.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Knowledge of advanced banking products and terminology.Ability to maintain high volume of quality work, while ensuring highestconfidentiality.Exercise good judgment when dispensing information to maintain confidentialityof sensitive information.Strong written and oral communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook, etc. and ability to learn new systems/applications.Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle multiple taskssimultaneous in a fast-paced, diverse, and growth-oriented environment.Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish,among other things, in-person contact with customers.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performed in an office environment.
