Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
Job Description:
We are currently in search of an organized and proactive Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts payable and receivable functions, which include timely and accurate ledger entries, processing payments and collections, maintaining up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices and check requests.
Input and upload invoices into the company's accounting system for payment.
Process accounts payable, follow up on discrepancies, and reconcile accounts.
Handle general ledger journal entries and prepare month-end account reconciliations.
Process accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and start the collection process if necessary.
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Maintain accurate and timely financial records in compliance with company policies and procedure.
Assist with month-end financial reports and support auditing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven work experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
High degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
