Eaton Corporation Winding Machine Operator - 2nd Shift in Greenwood, South Carolina
Eaton’s ESSG CPSD PRD Power Reliability Division division is currently seeking a Winding Machine Operator - 2nd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
This person must be and remain proficient in all winding operations within the department. They must be able to work closely with the Group Leaders and Production Supervisor to maintain an efficient flow of production in manufacturing packs for capacitors. Operates winding machine to produce capacitor packs ensure a quality product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Load film and foil onto machine making sure orientation, alignment, and size are correct.
Ensure in-process film and foil is identified.
Removes finished packs from stacker and loads onto cart.
Mark production tickets with information identifying person, machine, material and date involved in production.
Scan tickets into LXE scanner when cart has been completed and ready for staging in the Capacitor Assembly department.
Complete appropriate documentation - winder production reports, scrap reporting, downtime reporting, quality logs, 5S/TPM logs, SPC , daily housekeeping log, etc.
Ensure performance to Quality procedures: check finished product for general quality/function/appearance; Quality Alert items; verify process card is present and capacitance and turns checks are "on"; functioning of Error-proof device(s); deviation to process.
Notify appropriate support group (Supervisor / Group leader) for all issues that can’t be resolved.
Perform 5S housekeeping activities
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
Qualifications Preferred
Semi-Skilled work which includes at least one of the following: vocational education, apprenticeship, in-plant, on-the-job, or essential experience gained on other jobs. The usual amount of time spent by the average worker in acquiring the information, learning the techniques, and developing the facility for acceptable performance in a specific job, occupation, or field of work as outlined in the employee handbook and posted salary wage schedule
Skills:
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Must become certified to operate a Hoist
Must pass yearly electrical safety training
