Eaton Corporation Robotic Welder Group Leader - 3rd Shift in Greenwood, South Carolina
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Robotic Welder Group Leader - 3rd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.15 per hour.

What you’ll do:
This position is responsible for providing guidance and direction for team and team leads to accomplish compliance in Safety, Quality and Production expectations. Perform direct labor work within your area of responsibility, assembly, fabrication, or support function roles. They must be able to work closely with the Operators, Production Supervisor and Plant Staff to maintain an efficient flow of production. Work Safely to prevent on-the-job injuries. Report on-the-job injuries and unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor.
• Position requires use of advanced shop math and precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, and depth gauges.
• must be able to obtain Advanced robot welding certification at Fanuc USA.
• Keep up with incoming material tolerances and quality.
• Modify robot programs, including electronically backing up welding robot programs and logging all program changes.
• Provide training to robotic welding operators.
• Troubleshoot all robotic welding issues.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Welding diploma from an accredited technical or welding school.
• 5 years of welding experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years experience with robotic welding.
Position Criteria:
• Must be able to obtain Avanced robot welding certification at Fanuc USA.
• Basic understanding of blueprint drawings and ability to follow detailed written instructions.
• Ability to certify in Seam Welding, Spot Welding, Robotic welding, Mig welding and Tig welding.
• Basic computer skills.
