Job Summary: Are you a marketing aficionado with a passion for crafting compelling communications, executing impactful campaigns, and fostering exceptional customer engagements? Valley Cooperative Association is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to champion our company through strategic communications, innovative campaigns, and memorable events. As the Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting Valley as an industry expert while enhancing the overall customer experience through tailored initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Communications:
- Lead the creation, management, and execution of Valley’s internal and external monthly communications in adherence to Valley’s brand playbook.
- Industry Expertise:
- Craft articles, press releases, and content to establish Valley as a leader in the industry across all Valley business units.
- Marketing Campaigns & Events:
- Develop and implement formal marketing campaigns aligned with Valley’s Brand Strategy, including seminar training invitations, product promotional flyers, seasonal preorder guides, new product introductions, and product images/specifications.
- Customer Experience:
Ensure accuracy of web information and refine product catalog to enhance customer experience.
Provide trade show assistance to the sales team and maintain CRM customer and prospect data.
- Valley Events:
- Plan, create, coordinate, and execute Valley events in collaboration with Valley’s Marketing Project Manager, including the Golf Outing, Annual Food Show, Shareholders Event, and Annual Report.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary office work with no lifting over 5 lbs.
No walking or standing for extended periods (1-2 hours per day maximum).
Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing, communications, or related role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Prior experience in event planning is a plus.
Represent yourself and Valley in a professional business manner at all times.
