We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing statements, processing payments, reviewing contracts, and working with various accounting systems. This role offers an opportunity to transition from a contract to a hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process and complete commission and profit statements accurately and efficiently

• Ensure timely payments by reviewing contracts and statements

• Responsible for analytics and reconciliations, including credit card and balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist with month-end close processes and ensure timely completion

• Maintain and manage customer accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries as needed

• Utilize various accounting systems such as SAP and Lawson

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies

• Collaborate with team members and contribute to team growth

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar capacity

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience performing Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of SAP and/or Lawson systems

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
