Job Type:  Full-Time Hourly

Pay Range: $17.00+ /hour

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM  -4 PM 

Location: Greenville, SC 29615

What experience makes a great candidate?

  • Curiosity about electronics.  How they work and what they can do.  Formal experience is not a requirement!

  • Some education in engineering technology, robotics, electronics, and the like.

  • Technical Support for technology, phones, theatre, etc…

  • Supervisory experience in the Food Service Industry

  • Volunteer experience

     

    Job Requirements

  • No prior electronics troubleshooting experience is required.  Circuit Board Medics will offer training on electronics repair and soldering technique.

  • Fast learner - Since no prior electronics repair experience is required, there is a steep learning curve that must be overcome quickly for success.

  • Detail oriented - Circuit boards are complex systems that require all parts to be within specification in order for the entire circuit board to perform properly. 

  • Critical thinker

  • Problem solver -  When a problem is recognized, it is imperative that the technician become a part of the solution process

  • Superior dexterity - Bench level repairs involve working with very small parts, and good soldering technique also requires a high level of manual dexterity.

  • Good vision -Vision aids such as glasses or contacts are permitted. 

  • Team player

  • Strong work ethic

  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks on schedule

  • Initiative

  • Full-Time availability, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

  • High school diploma

    Our Expectation

    Circuit Board Medics was founded on, and continues to maintain, a 1-Day Turnaround for standard repairs.  This nurtures a fast-paced environment that requires a strong sense of urgency.  The typical workday is 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  The daily responsibility of the repair team is to ensure that all repairs are completed, which means staying after 4:00 PM some days until all orders are shipped.

     

    What does a Production Team Member do?

    (Don't worry, we'll teach you how to do the technical things)

  • Disassemble and reassemble housings and other small parts

  • Electronic component identification and placement

  • Replace components by soldering

  • Rework of circuit boards is accomplished with hand tools such as soldering irons along with semi-automated machines

  • Perform bench level troubleshooting of faulty circuit boards using tools provided by Circuit Board Medics

  • Document new repair procedures

  • Ensure organization and overall cleanliness of work area

  • Miscellaneous duties as needed

    What can you expect during the application process?
