Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is instrumental in the financial operations of our organization, with a focus on accounts receivable and payable. The Accounting Specialist will work closely with project managers and clients to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely collection of payments. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity that offers a long-term commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Use accounting software to process vendor invoices, reconcile credit card statements, and set up new project baseline and budgets.

• Generate client invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project managers and client accounting personnel.

• Facilitate the collection of invoices through calls or emails and resolve any client disputes or discrepancies.

• Process purchase orders, from creating requisitions to issuing orders to vendors, and reconcile received equipment with invoiced equipment.

• Facilitate the employee expense report approval process.

• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for managing and integrating the business processes.

• Use ADP - Financial Services for managing payroll and HR services.

• Use Ceridian for managing HR and payroll services.

• Use Concur for travel and expense management.

• Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role as an Accounting Specialist or relevant position.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Concur systems.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Ability to perform accounting functions such as general ledger entries and reconciliations.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Auditing experience is a plus.

• Experience in billing functions is desired.
