POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Project Manager, frequently assigned to project locations, will provide business and administrative support to facilitate the planning and coordinating of activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Prepare billings and cash low Projects and job cost analysis.
  • Supporting on-site coordination and management of projects
  • Track and report on project progress.
  • Schedule weekly project meetings.
  • Prepare meeting minutes and documentation.
  • Prepare project monthly report(s).
  • Prepare, submit and track application for payment verification.
  • Cost Tracking for Sequential Costing.
  • Contract Administration.
  • Punch-List Management.
  • Warranty Review and Procurement.
  • As-Built Document Procurement.
  • Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
  • Contributing to the planning and development of projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
  • Excellent time management skills, and ability to work under time constraints to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Timberline.
  • Works well in a team environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPEIRENCE

  • Two-year technical degree in construction-related field (and/or 5-10 year equivalent construction-related work experience).
  • Thorough knowledge of construction practices, procedures, design and materials.
