REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sustain automated optical inspection (AOI) system and measurement in production for a high-volume wafer fab and assist in developing new and advanced technology and processes to support new product launch activities

  • Monitor and maintain process control, standardize process and procedure documentations, provide skills training and technical mentoring to operators/technicians in production, and support production through operations technicians

  • Work with multidiscipline groups within fab to identify continuous improvement projects in yield and quality

  • Utilize sound problem-solving methodologies to support process and yield improvements and to utilize statistical methods to ensure process control

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, data driven and results-oriented and require little supervision and direction

  • This position will report to the Yield and Quality Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/MS/PhDor equivalent in engineering or material/physics science

  • 2+ years relevant experience

  • Experience with wafer fabrication process preferred

  • Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) system and measurement and defect analysis is highly desirable

  • Working knowledge of compound semiconductor and acoustic filter device fabrication is preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques, design of experiments (DOE), and basic RF concepts

  • Experience with establishing process control and monitoring systems to support high-volume manufacturing

  • Versatility and ability to multi-task, solid interpersonal skills and cross-functional effectiveness are critical
