What you will do

The purpose of this job is to develop and retain existing National Fleet Parts Accounts. This position is responsible for driving programs that increase the proprietary and aftermarket parts sales of the Mack and Volvo dealer network. This position communicates the vision and direction of the Mack and Volvo organization to effectively facilitate the best efforts of the team, works with both Mack and Volvo fleet customers and other Mack and Volvo sales and marketing teams in a cooperative total solution effort that drives sales and margins for ourselves’ and our Dealer Partners.

This position can be located in any major U.S. city, within close proximity to a major airport.

Core Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a number of assigned National Accounts.

• Implement parts sales programs direct to new and existing Fleets. Implement Fleet parts sales support programs through North American Dealers.

• Introduce and promote Fleet PREFERRED Parts Purchasing programs to National accounts.

• Ensure sales & profits for National Accounts meet or exceed corporate targets.

• Develop Business models to attain profitable growth for both the dealer body and Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks Inc.

• Ensure sales initiatives provide for: Customer Satisfaction, Value/Quality, & Growth.

• Work in conjunction with Fleet Truck Sales and Customer Satisfaction departments.

• Work in conjunction with Dealer Parts Sales and Service departments.

• Participate in Trade Shows/Customer functions to support our products.

• Execute Aftermarket Part Sales process.

• Create process improvement opportunities that support Fleet Customers, Dealer Partners and the Volvo Group Aftermarket initiatives.

• Support Fleet Part Sales Team with strategic initiatives that generate profit and increase revenue.

Minimum Education and Experience

• BS/BA Business Management or Marketing.

• Minimum 3 years automotive or related industry experience.

• Minimum 1-year Fleet experience and/or Fleet interface.

Other Requirements

• Ability to travel (As required), up to 50%.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base salary range is set at $92,500 to $133,875, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
