SUMMARY:
The Engineering Technician focuses on test setup troubleshooting, along with equipment and hardware diagnostics and repair. In addition, this role provides preventative maintenance support for test equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides test floor support for troubleshooting and resolution of setup and equipment related test issues.
Provides test fixture upgrade and repair support
Provides test equipment diagnostics and repair support
Provides preventative maintenance support to ensure equipment is properly maintained and in-house calibrations are performed
Focuses on Continuous Improvement Through Support of LOE Escalation Projects and Development of Other Lean Practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education course study, degree, or certifications are preferred.
Experience in a technical role with a focus on test equipment, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair practices.
Solid analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, and team player
Understanding of RF principles and semiconductor testing is highly desirable
Experience with technical documentation review is highly desirable
