ManpowerGroup Robot Vision Technician in Greenfield, Ohio

Opportunity for a Vision and Robotics Technician to join Adient's manufacturing plant in Greenfield, OH. The Vision and Robotics Technician will be responsible for 3D Vision System as it relates to camera imaging, image processing, on-line mold conditions and conveyor speeds to produce saleable parts.

Recent graduates with robot co-op or internship experience will be considered.

Specific Duties:

  • Primary responsibility will be to support, maintain, program and troubleshoot component detection vision and robotic automation systems throughout the manufacturing facility.

  • The Vision and Robotics Technician is responsible for Automated Robotic Clip Automation systems as it relates to feeding equipment, pick and place systems, robots and placement accuracy.

  • Maintain functionality of robots through coordination with maintenance and operations.

  • Develop and maintain documentation on vision and robotic systems throughout the facility complying with industry standards.

  • Responsible for developing new robot programs, troubleshooting and debugging robotic programs.

  • Provide training as needed to line technicians as it relates to vision and robotics.

  • Provide weekend and evening support as necessary to support 24/7 operations

  • At times, provide support to other manufacturing systems and equipment (material handling, process equipment, etc.)

  • Maintains a clean and organized (5S) work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Education and Experience:

  • Must possess a high school diploma.

  • Some experience within the vision, robotics and automation fields.

  • Microsoft Office Suite.
