Position Summary:
The Recreation Therapist is responsible for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating assigned clients treatment plans. Specific diagnosis may involve but are not limited: autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, emotional disorders, medically frail conditions, neurological impairments, spinal cord injury, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other conditions that compromise respiratory health. Assigned caseload can be comprised of students enrolled in Crotched Mountain School
Qualifications:
- Certification from NCTRC
- NH Stare License as a Recreational Therapist
Essential Functions:
General Business Acumen: Demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of everyday operational functions of Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center.
- Wears identification while working.
- Records time worked accurately.
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
- Completes work within designated time; keep supervisor informed of any impending delays.
- Accurately complete required documentation that meets current organizational and/or department standards.
- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of all data inclusive ofclient, employee and Crotched Mountain operations data.

Physical Requirements:
Physical strength/endurance to participate in the following activities when necessary.
- Independent movement/transfer of student weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Assisted (2 or more person) movement/transfer of student regardless of weight as necessary.
- Assisting when necessary in the escorting/restraining of acting out students from one area to another
- Lifting/carrying f objects/items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Standing/walking/climbing stairs as required.
- Ability to stay seated for long periods of time as necessary in the performance of administrative duties including the operation of the computer programs.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
