GREENFIELD Job Title: Part-Time Grant Professional Organization: MassHire Franklin Hampshire Workforce Board & Career Center Location: Hybrid (flexible with a mix of remote work and in-office presence in the Greenfield office) Hours: 20 hours per week Compensation: \$23-\$27/hour About Us MassHire Franklin Hampshire Workforce Board and Career Center serve as a strategic partner in workforce development, connecting businesses, job seekers, and community resources to build a thriving regional economy. We focus on creating equitable access to career opportunities and fostering innovation in workforce training programs across the Franklin and Hampshire counties. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grant Professional to support our mission by securing private and public funding to expand and enhance workforce development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully securing private foundation grants. Experience with federal grants is a plus. This part-time role requires collaboration with internal staff and external stakeholders, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to write compelling and persuasive grant proposals. Key Responsibilities Grant Writing: Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals to private foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Grant Research: Identify and research prospective funding opportunities that align with MassHire Franklin Hampshire\'s mission and strategic goals. Grant Management: Track grant proposal submissions, deadlines, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance. Collaboration: Work closely with MassHire staff and partners to gather necessary data and insights to strengthen proposals. Reporting: Assist with the preparation of grant reports and ensure funders are updated on the impact of their contributions. Strategy Development: Develop and maintain a grants calendar and funding pipeline to meet financial goals. Qualifications Proven experience in writing successful grant proposals, particularly for private funding. Familiarity with federal grant writing and submission processes is a plus. Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail and clarity. Ability to synthesize information and articulate a clear, concise case for support. Knowledge of workforce development programs or related fields is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software is preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
